MUMBAI: In a new Sunday primetime show, Channel [V] will play the cupid for all the guys who fear to approach girls.

The non-fiction property, Steal UR Girlfriend, will debut on 13 November at 7 pm.

Star India?s youth entertainment channel has roped in Bollywood actor Kashmera Shah to play the cupid.

?Steal UR Girlfriend? is based on impressing and winning the dream girl. Shah helps the love smitten guy woo his dream girl in the show.

Channel [V] EVP and GM Prem Kamath said, "The youth dreams of dramatic moments in their lives, especially when it comes to relationships. These fantastic moments and situations to proclaim their love are not acted upon out of fear of failure - the proverbial one shot at success is all they have - and this is the one opportunity we offer them."

Channel [V] has lately been focusing on original programming and has significantly reduced its music content to two dayparts - morning 7-11 am and evening 4-6 pm. It has, unlike other channels in the genre, launched two daily fiction shows - ?Dil, Dostii, Dance? and ?Humse Hai Liife?.
