    Mumbai: Sab is airing a special event on Republic Day titled ?Hum SAB Saath Hain? to celebrate the free democratic spirit of the Indians.

    ?Hum SAB Saath Hain? will showcase performances -- dance acts, comedy acts and patriotic musical performances depicting the true spirit of India.

    It will air on 26 January at 10 pm.

    Sudesh Lahiri and Atul Parchure will present the opening act of ?Hum SAB Saath Hai? with their comical act ?am Aadmi?, a depiction of a common man in today?s world.

    The female leads of Sab shows - Shama Sikender, Jia Manek, Karishma Tanna, Aditi Sajwan, Navina, Mellisa and Debina - will dance to the next act Unity in Diversity? - a blend of folk with popular filmy dance numbers.

    The dance act will be followed by a comedy act ?Akbar & Ticket Collector? which will be presented by Paresh Nath and Ali Asgar. Super kids of Sab Dev Joshi, Meher, Gillu and Rudra will open the third act of ?Hum SAB Saath Hai? with their performance ?Kids as Freedom Fighters of India?.

    Actors like Abhishek Awasthi, Eijaz Khan and Karan Wahi will then join the Republic Day celebrations with their ?Defense Act? that aims to bring back the feeling of patriotism. Their act will represent the defense bodies of India- Army, Airforce and Navy.

    The Defense act will be followed by a light hearted ?Parliament Mein Budget? act that will have Asish Roy, Gopi Bhalla and Anup Upadhay.

    ?Hum SAB Saath Hai? program will be culminated by first Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant who will sing patriotic songs for the audience.

    MUMBAI: Sri Adhikari Brothers (SAB) is taking its Hindi GEC channel Dhamaal to Gujarat. The channel, which is already present in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, will be on a test run from 17 January and will commence regular programming from 7.30 pm on 21 January.

    "The channel has comedy shows with comedians like Rakesh Bedi, Anant Desai, Raju Shrivastav, Siddharth Randheria and Sailesh Lodha along with two hours of music content and a cookery show," said Dhamaal AVP programming Ritu Chopra.

    Dhamaal?s prime time shows include Madam Ki Paathshala, Bachchan Pandey Ki Toli, Galat Family, Bahut Khoob and Kya Samachar Hai and will leave them in splits. With the launch of the channel in Gujarat, the channel will have "Gujjubhai Girish Kumar adding Gujarati Tadka to this Hindustani Thali."

    SAB?s other regional Hindi GEC Dabangg has Hindi content with a local tadka catering to the audiences of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttaranchal.

    MUMBAI: Sab is all set to launch two new fiction properties ?Hum Aapke Hain In-Laws!? and ?Tota and Maina?.

    Taking 10 pm and 10.30 pm slots respectively, the shows are going on-air on 14 January.

    Tota aur Maina is being produced by Miloni Pictures while Garima Productions has produced ?Hum Aapke??.

    Sab EVP and business head Anooj Kapoor said, "We bring shows from every state of the nation and allow the audience to connect with the love and the sense of togetherness of various families from different corners. ?Tota aur Maina? in particular will concentrate on the diverse cultural elements from Uttar Pradesh. "

    Adding about HAHIL, Kapoor said, "Sab TV has always propagated that ?Asli maaza SAB ke saath aata hai? and we emphasise on the importance of togetherness; our launch of the year ?Hum Aapke Hain In Laws is the perfect reinforcement of our beliefs."

    In the Hindi GEC space, HAHIL will compete with shows like Colors? ?Uttaran?, Zee TV?s ?Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuyein?, Star Plus? ?Pyar Ka Dard? and Life OK?s ?Saubhagyavati Bhava?.

    Meanwhile, Tota Aur Maina shares the slot with Star Plus? ?Veera?, Zee TV?s ?Punarvivaha?, Colors? ?Parichay? and Life OK?s ?Savdhan India At 11-India Fights Back?.

    Tota aur Maina is a light hearted comedy where the protagonist Tota gets married to Maina through a series of comic events in a mass community wedding. What unfolds is a journey of this couple with completely contrast characters. In this process Tota always finds himself at the receiving end trying to manage the family and the comic troubled situation the couple gets in due to Maina?s misadventures.

    ?Hum Aapke Hain In-Laws? traces the journey of Gulshan Grover and Damini along with that of his in-laws who happen to be a blessing as well as a nightmare by the sheer power of being his neighbours. The show explores the twists, turns and adventures in day to day situations for Gulshan and his wife Damini as they are surrounded by their in-laws who not only happen to be unconditionally loving but also unintentionally interfering.
