Co-production and co-financing remain the central focuses, which will be supported through a series of workshops scheduled throughout the two-day event.

A new initiative this year is the Commissioners? Meet Up, which will give creators and producers a chance to showcase more than 130 projects in progress - whether they are in the early stages, in development, or actually in production. The initiative will feature commissioning editors including SVT-Sveriges Television commissioning editor Axel Arno, ARD/NDR commissioning editor Barbara Biemann, RMC Decouverte head of broadcasting Rodolphe Guignard and AVRO commissioning editor Marijke Huijbregts.

The MIPDoc International Pitch will feature six of the best projects registered in the MIPDoc 2013 catalogue, offering the finalists the opportunity to pitch live in front of an international panel of commissioning editors and broadcasters on the first day of MIPDoc.
