Playboy to take reality TV to next level with Extreme Truth

LOS ANGELES: Good news for the peeping Tom! Playboy is gearing up to take reality television to a deeper level with The Extreme Truth. The show will premiere on Playboy TV in the US on 10 August and promises to uncover what lies beneath.
An official release informs that the series aims at provoking the viewer by putting real couples in a state of hypnosis. Through this, they will explore their sexual relationships in a deliciously intimate manner. The fun starts when wicked secrets and heart-wrenching confessions come to the surface.
The couples range from early 20s to mid 50s. Professional clinical hypnotherapist Tom Silver delves into the sexual and emotional lives of the participants individually. The sessions are videotaped and later viewed by the couples together. Hays moderates as the couples learn their partner's most hidden truths.
In March, the channel had announced that it was holding auditions and those who appeared on the show would be paid. The condition was that the couples must be comfortable discussing intimate details of their relationship. There is no nudity involved. Selected couples received $250 per day per person for a possible three days' work.
