Venus, Serena Williams catch the reality bug on ABC

MUMBAI: What is it like to lead the lifestyle of tennis pros and also deal with the glamour of being celebrities?

US broadcaster ABC has announced that it will do a reality series involving the multiple Grand Slam winning Williams duo - Serena and Venus. The show which is still to be named goes on air in July on ABC Family.

The six episode show will follow these two young women coming of age, as they find their place in the world outside of tennis. Viewers will see them interacting with their family and friends, find out what they do for fun, and also see them at their best on the court.

Serena Williams says, "We're very excited to branch out into a new medium. The series will provide our fans with an up-close, inside look at our lives away from the tennis courts." Venus Williams said, "Since we are sisters, ABC Family is the perfect home for our new series."

Another reality show on the broadcaster which kicks of in August deals with a school. Four college kids at Philadelphia’s Drexel University are enjoying it all…partying, friends, and the freedom that comes from living away from home. However their style is about to get seriously cramped when one of their parents moves in.

The parents have never had the full college experience, and they'll not only be living with their kid, but going with them to classes, parties or to their part-time job. Both family members are sure to be confronted with truths about each other that they didn't know.
