MUMBAI: The sixth annual Bollywood Awards will take place on 1 May 2004 at the Mark G Etess Arena in the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in New Jersey. Several actors from the Indian film industry, several mainstream American stars will perform and be present at the awards ceremony, says an official release.

Bollywood Awards Inc CEO Kamal Dandona says including Hollywood stars at the awards are a great way for non-resident Indians (NRIs) to feel connected between their present environment and their roots.

This is the sixth edition of the Bollywood Awards in the US.

Bollywood fans can nominate their favourite stars for each respective award category on the Bollywood Groups official web site, www.bollywoodawards.com. Additional ballots and information regarding the awards is available in leading stores, print media, and web sites. Meanwhile, the Bollywood Fashion Awards are to be held on 30 April 2004 at the Xanadu in the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, Atlantic City, New Jersey. The fourth International Bollywood Fashion Awards will bring together the top international designers, models, and celebrities together to honour the colliding worlds of fashion and entertainment, says the release.
