Nick unveils 'Hear My Voice' contest for Indian kids

MUMBAI: As part of its ongoing ‘Nick 2015’ campaign, which urges kids to get involved with key issues affecting their world, Nick now gives Indian kids an opportunity to communicate with world leaders at the United Nations through an art contest called “Hear My Voice.”

Nick will be holding a mini exhibition at the foyer of the United Nations building in New York to display kids’ artwork, poems and letters from all over the world. Indian kids can get a chance to get their messages up in that exhibition by submitting two artworks based on the theme of 'Aspirations,' one that showcases their world or their lives today and the second one to show how they would like their world or life to be in 2015.

Government leaders have pledged to make the world a better place for kids and their families by the year 2015 - this means everyone will have access to clean water, food and medicine as and when they need. While many kids signed the petition at www.nick2015.com which will be presented to world leaders this September, many also wrote in to ask what else they could do.

Kids can send in their entries with their name, age and address by 25 September to the following address: Nick 2015 "Hear My Voice" Contest, MTV Networks India, 36B, Dr. RK Shirodkar Marg, Parel East, Mumbai 400012.

The best entries will be sent to New York for display. For more information about the contest kids can log on to:
