'Budget Fundas' in MTV style

MUMBAI: Its Budget Time again! Besides news channels, the music channel is also initating a programme on budget.

MTV, in association with CNBC, presents Budget Fundas, a forum for the youth to express their expectations and apprehensions from this budget through a special one-hour panel discussion being aired on MTV on 3 March at 6:30 pm.

The discussion conducted would revolve on whether Dr. P Chidambaram would be able to meet the aspirations of a billion Indians. And also if the the young vote bank figure in his plans.

The show will be hosted by MTV VJ Cyrus Broacha and CNBC chief of bureau, Govindraj Ethiraj.

Amongst the other panelist bollywood Mallika Sherawat and Zayed Khan mixing with the likes of MP Milind Deora and corporate captains Adi Godrej and Ramesh Damani.Witnessing the madness will be an audience consisting of MTV VJs and more than 50 students.

As a run-up to the panel discussion, MTV VJ Ramona visited a few youth hangouts to catch the youth vibe on the budget.

The show will feature what VJ Ramona find through her interaction with the youth. The teens showed their concerns about the prices of medicines and school / college fees but also hope for hi-fashion and mobile phones to become accessible to those with tight budgets.
