MUMBAI: The brain drain at B4U continues. Creative head Yugander VV has called it quits.

As of 3 May 2004, he is no longer an employee of B4U. Yugander had put in his papers last month.

According to a media source, Khalid Sayed joined as the new creative head on 4 May.Yugander joined B4U Television Network as head of promos. He took over as the creative head of B4U Music and Movies in May 2003 and was immediately assigned the task of revamping the network.

When contacted, this 30-year-old telecommunications engineer says he left the company to pursue his movie directing ambitions. He has launched a company South of Pluto and is in the process of scripting his debut venture. "I have always wanted to make films. After I thought of taking up movie making I realised that I wouldn't be able to do justice to my job at B4U. So I put in my papers. But I will be there for B4U, if they need me," he says.

Elaborating on his future plans, he says, "I have a script almost ready. It is an English film aimed at the worldwide audience in general and the Diaspora market in particular. Currently, I am in talks with financiers so I won't be able to provide any details. But I should be ready to make an announcement in a month's time. Besides that I am also looking at consultation assignments." B4U officials were unavailable for comment.
