Star World's musical extravaganza on New Year's Eve

MUMBAI: On New Year's Eve 31 December 2005, English general entertainment channel Star World will air an event with the Swarovski Fashion Rocks for the Prince's Trust 2005 at 9:30 pm followed by a special on Beatles' Biggest Secrets unveiled at 10:30 pm.

The Swarovski Fashion Rocks For The Prince's Trust, which was held at Monaco - in the presence of Prince Albert II of Monaco saw high profile names from the world of music and fashion, perform together live in Monaco's Grimaldi Forum.

12 of the worlds' biggest designers showcased their collections partnered by an outstanding musical performer in a catwalk presentation like no other, all for a good cause- to support the youth charity, The Prince's Trust.

Hosted by world-renowned supermodel and actress Jerry Hall, the event has a superstar line-up including America's greatest pop band Blondie, the godfather of Brit Urban Craig David, the stunning Skin, new R&B sensation Amerie and art rockers The Kills.

Viewers can also watch edgier fare such as Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, Jamie Cullum and Roisin Murphy of Moloko. And if that was not enough, Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, D&G, Armani, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Versace as well as Vivienne Westwood are just some of the fabulous brands that'll be waltzing down the catwalk to the music.
