Creative Abbys: SPN is Broadcaster of the Year, Dentsu Webchutney wins big

Dentsu Webchutney dominated the night with 14 metals

GOA: Day 2 of Goafest 2019 culminated with winners across five categories - broadcaster, design specialist, direct specialist, PR specialist agency and still craft - of the Creative Abbys being declared. Sony Pictures Networks India was crowned Broadcaster of the Year, winning nine metals on the night. SPN’s haul comprised of a gold, three silvers and five bronze. SPN bagged the only gold in the category for Sony Ten 2's 'Meri Doosri Country' campaign for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Star India finished second with five metals – 3 silver and 2 bronze. ABP News Network rounded off the top three a silver and bronze each.

Dentsu Webchutney won the PR and Direct Agency of the Year title, taking home seven gold, four silver and three bronze metals.

The agency bagged five golds in the PR category for its work with Early Salary's 'The Month-End Collection', Swiggy's 'Thank you project', URI's 'Mission Torrents - a campaign that changed an Indian law', Chakra Tea's 'Chai-fi' and Uber's 'Lower the Window'.

Uri's 'Mission Torrents' campaign brought home the golds in the direct category for Dentsu Webchutney.

Autumn Grey’s twin golds in the direct category were for its work with Samsonite's 'Kerala is Open' category. Cheil India, on the other hand, settled for three metals – a silver and two bronze.

COG Digital + Design, awarded the Design Specialist of the Year, won five silver and four bronze metals. Open Strategy and Design bagged a gold, three silver and three bronze metals. AutumnWinter Communications & Design walked away with two silver and a bronze metal. 

COG Digital + Design was crowned the Still Craft Specialist of the Year with three silver and two bronze metals. While AutumnWinter Communications & Design captured one five metals – a silver and four bronze, FCB India Advertising LLP earned itself two silver and a bronze metal.
