One of the most prolific music composers in the Indian TV Industry, Aashish Rego has been consistently breaking many records, while making many records. His innovative style of composition and unorthodox techniques of music design have contributed greatly to the Films, TV shows, Advertisements and Webseries he has scored for. He has scored music for one of the longest running TV shows on Indian Television “Balika Vadhu”, for which he was felicitated by the Jaipur International Film Festival for his contribution to Rajasthani music. Despite emerging from a strong Western Classical education, he is well versed with Indian music, especially the various folk styles pan India, which is heard in the various shows he has scored for. The speed with which he consistently churns out quality music is unparalleled. His clients are among the who’s who of Indian Television and the Digital media, and swear by the value he adds to their Creative Expression.

He has composed the background score for over 125 TV shows and 20000 episodes making him one of the few composers globally with such a vast body of work. He has also produced 2 Marathi feature films, one of which"Pak pak pakaak" won many awards nationally and internationally. He is a 5 time winner of the Indian Telly award for "Best Background Score in a TV show" with most of his shows featuring in the TOP 10 popular shows. Currently the Hon. Gen. Secretary of MCAI (Music Composers' Association of India) he was also on the Board of IPRS for 3 years till December 2019. He is also the only Asian representative on the Copyright Buyout Panel of CIAM - The Global association of Music Composers. He recently brought together 100of India's Top Composers across India to create a historic track "Vande Mataram" for Independence Day.
