Sony Sports Network bags Saudi Pro League broadcasting rights

The league will feature Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks India has bagged the exclusive media rights to broadcast the Saudi Pro League 2022 2023. As part of the deal, the broadcaster will get the exclusive rights to televise the league across the Indian subcontinent i.e India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka non exclusively in Afghanistan. 

The Roshni Saudi League 2022/23 (Al Wehda vs. Al Nassr) will be broadcast on Sony Sports Ten 2 and Sony Sports Ten 2 HD on  February 9, 2023, at 11:00 pm. (IST).

The partnership will also give SPN the rights to live stream all the matches on its premium OTT platform, SonyLIV.

Established in 1976, the Saudi Pro League will feature one of the greatest players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently signed with Al Nassr Football Club. The five time Ballon d’Or winner will join one of the most successful and storied clubs in the league, further strengthening their talent roster. Ronaldo’s inclusion in Al Nassr is a major push for both the club and the league, and the remainder of the 2023 season is poised to be one of the most exciting in the history of the Saudi Pro League.
