MUMBAI: Consumer body Mumbai Grahak Panchayat has called a meeting of all state-level consumer organisations and cable consumer organisations in Maharashtra on 18 August in Mumbai. 

The purpose: to discuss various problems of cable service consumers face and to chalk out a common programmme to protect them from exploitation at different stages, an official release states.

The meeting is to be held at Grahak Bhavan, Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg, Vile Parle (West), Mumbai - 400 056, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Representatives of the organisations who wish to participate may contact Ajit Tawde on 6238124 / 6288624 between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm daily until 13 August.
