MUMBAI: Starting tonight (3 March) at 9:30 pm is lifestyle channel Zoom's new show Maximum Style. As the name suggests, viewers are in for a slick show on the hottest trends in fashion and interiors from India and abroad.

With a tag line 'Style- shaken & stirred!', Maximum Style is a show that promises to redefine how you wear your style, with tips from the biggest name's from the world of fashion on what, when, where and how- to wear clothes, makeup, hair, shoes and accessories.

Zoom head of programming Aparnaa Pande speaks to indiantelevision.com on the channel's first show on fashion. "A 52 episode series, Maximum Style was conceived from the feedback that we keep getting from viewers asking who styles our Zoom anchors. Fashion is one of the few languages that can be understood by all. We created this series with an aim to make all trends shown on the show accessible to viewers. This is much more than models walking down the ramp in designer fashion wear. The series also covers the current buzz from the world of interior design," says Pande.

Hosted by well known Delhi model Amanpreet Wahi, the series will have the latest trends for men and women in clothes, accessories, living spaces and work stations. In a free-flowing format, it takes viewers to shopping outlets, fashion shows, bargain hunts with helpful suggestions and tips for making the most of your personal style and space.
A special segment will showcase established and upcoming models. The upcoming Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai will also be covered. Sanjay Virmani, known for fashion and lifestyle shows on television, is producing Maximum Style.

"Where to buy lists are included and it shows how to use inexpensive materials in creative ways. Whether you are looking to get involved with designer shoes like the models on the runways or for something trendy in the area of fashion jewellery, this is the show for you," adds Pande. Maximum Style will be repeated at 7:30 pm on Sunday.

Also starting on 6 March is the revamped Mirchi Top 20 with a new host. "With Yana Gupta getting busy with film assignments, we decided to revamp the next 52 episodes with an entirely new format and a new host. Model/actor Vidya Malvade will now host the weekly countdown show. She represents the freshness and savvy image that Zoom anchors are associated with. Deepti Bhatnagar has produced the new series. "

Taking the show out of the studio, the weekly countdown show Mirchi Top 20 brings the top 20 Bollywood chart-toppers with Vidya in a new city across the world. The first few episodes show Vidya in Venice, Hong Kong and Italy. It covers exotic lifestyles of people from all over the globe. Vidya will give viewers interesting trivia about the locations and of the celebrities from that region.

"Listening to the latest chart busters in exotic locations will be almost akin to watching a travel show with a difference. This is an awesome show filled with tons of trivia on fashion, music, movies, television and film stars and the local culture of the cities covered," says Pande.

Mirchi Top 20 will air on Mondays at 9 pm with a repeat on Sunday at 10 pm.
