Warner Bros. TV Group promotes Hunegs as EVP, business management

MUMBAI: Veteran Warner Bros. executive Craig Hunegs has been promoted to Warner Bros. Television Group executive vice president, business management.
The announcement was made by Warner Bros. Television Group president Bruce Rosenblum.
In the newly created post, Hunegs will serve as the senior business executive in the recently created Warner Bros. Television Group, which has oversight of and a broad mandate to grow all of Warner Bros.' television businesses--including production (Warner Bros. Television, Telepictures Productions and Warner Bros. Animation), worldwide distribution (Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution and Warner Bros. International Television Distribution) and broadcasting (The WB).
"Craig is a terrific television executive. He's a skilled, strategic and creative deal-maker. As the television business evolves and new platforms and business models become not only commonplace, but absolutely necessary, I'm thrilled to have Craig as an integral executive, confidant and friend," said Rosenblum.
Hunegs moves up from his current post as executive vice president, Warner Bros. Television, where, since February 2000, he has overseen business affairs, legal, finance, administration, labor relations, human resources, publicity and music for WBTV.
He had previously served as executive vice president, business and financial affairs, WBTV, having joined the company in 1997.
Prior to Warner Bros. Television, Hunegs was The WB Television Network senior vice president business affairs. Before that, Hunegs served as vice president of business affairs at NBC for five years. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a program attorney at ABC Entertainment.
