MUMBAI: With Season 3 of Empire all set to premiere on Star World and Star World HD, there is rising curiosity about the future of the Lyon dynasty, Cookie and Lucious’s future and who can forget – the roles stars such as Mariah Carey, French Montana, Birdman, Xzibit, and Kid Cudi will play in the sizzling dynamics of Empire. Please find below some exciting revelations from the upcoming season to keep your curiosity satiated!

A hugely popular show, “Empire” has rapidly gained viewers since it first aired last year — the series premiere drew nearly 10 million, while the season finale drew 17.6 million. A newly released trailer features Mariah Carey in all her glamourous splendor, holding court at Empire Entertainment looking every bit her sexy self as the character Kitty. Her dazzling duet with Jamal played by Jussie Smollett isn’t the only sneak peek of the R&B diva, Kitty is seen telling Lucious (Terrence Howard), “You’ve always got a trick up your sleeve,” making one wonder what kind of sparks are going to fly between Kitty and Cookie (Taraji Henson).

The new trailer promises Season 3 to be a thrilling affair with the soundtrack being along the lines of ‘This is what legends are made of’. The trailer also shows Cookie telling off someone saying, “We built this family and this family is strong” and then exclaiming passionately “We will fight fire with fire!” it also hints at some violence with dialogs such as ‘On these streets the first rule of nature is kill or be killed…’
