K Sera Sera to distribute Ram Gopal Varma's 'D'

MUMBAI: K Sera Sera Productions has begun its operations in the national distribution circuit with the exclusive distribution rights for Ram Gopal Varma's D.

The movie, which is a prequel to Varma's earlier movie Company, has newcomer Randeep Hooda in the lead role and will hit the theatres on June 3, 2005.
 

"We have successfully used our distribution network to distribute our own movies as well as movies like Black, Dil Maange More, Raincoat and Tango Charlie produced by independent production houses. We have been waiting to extend our distribution network nationally and what better movie than RGV's D to begin our distribution operations nationwide," says K Sera Sera Productions CEO Kacon Sethi.

K Sera Sera has already set up distribution offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Nizam, which together cover 60 per cent of the film revenue market. For distributing in Delhi and northern India, the company has got into a tie-up with PVR.
 
 

Apart from motion picture distribution, K Sera Sera's business operations include motion picture production and television content production. It already has a television serial on air and its new tele serial Kasshish will soon be on air on Zee TV, the company says in a release. The company has four major movies slated to release this year - My Wife's Murder, James, Darna Zaroori Hai and the mega budget film Sarkar.
