MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures has parted ways with Thirupathi Brothers from two of its upcoming projects, Vazhakku Enn 18/9 and Kumki.

Said UTV Motion Pictures’ South Business chief G. Dhananjayan, “Understanding the requirements for the new projects Vazhakku Enn 18/9 and Kumki, we believe Thirupathi Brothers are best equipped to carry out both the marketing and distribution campaigns which will be beneficial for these releases."

UTV and Thirrupathi Brothers have, thus, mutually agreed to part ways for these two forthcoming films. "We have had a great working relationship during the production, marketing and distribution of Vettai, which was a big success and we wish both the films through Thirrupathi Brothers all the luck," said Dhananjayan.

All other Tamil projects from the UTV banner like Vikram’s Thaandavam , Mysskin’s Mugamoodi and Sundar C’s Masala Café, are underway and the release dates will be announced soon.
