Grey, Chennai, bags India Baseball account

CHENNAI: Grey Worldwide, Chennai has won the India Baseball communication account. An official release informs that the agency is known for taking on new categories and building them into well-known brands.

Grey Worldwide Chennai head Kaushik Tiwari said, "It is a very exciting account to handle as this is the first time baseball has come to this country and we will take up the challenge of this new category which will give also give us an opportunity to set benchmarks." Grey Global Group South Asia head Nirvik Singh added, "It’s truly a wonderful opportunity to work with India Baseball because its like launching a new category. Yet it will be unlike anything anyone has over done before."

The release adds that Grey Worldwide reopened their Chennai branch two months ago and already boasts of a client portfolio which includes Sara Lee, TTK- Eva Deodorant, The Park hotel, ITC Greeting Cards along with Medimix. India Baseball is part of the Little League and is the largest youth movement in the world today, with more than three million children in 104 countries. This will include India from this academic year. Little League Baseball is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball the release adds.
