Mumbai: Apparel Manufacturers of India, one of India’s apparel group of manufacturers and traders, has wrapped its four day-long mega South conclave – ADVAIT 2.0 at Chennai Trade Centre.

The fair which kick-started last week on Wednesday was inaugurated by honourable guests deputy high commissioner & Sri Lanka deputy high commission in Southern India Dr. D. Venkateshwaran and Maharashtra economic development council president and MMActiv Sci-Tech Communication Pvt. Ltd managing director Ravindra Boratkar.

Present along with them were L Raveendran from S Nallaperumal & Sons from Nagercoil; Roshan Manawalan from Sarthas Trichy; and B.U ChandraShekhar from B S Chanabasappa, Davangeree – Karnataka.

AMI’s 40th fair in South India saw more than 2000 key retailers attend. Some key retailers who were present include Nallis Silks, Shobha, Pothys, R S Brothers Retail India Pvt Ltd, Marri Retail Pvt Ltd, Kalamandir, Kisan, Mysore Emporium, Volga Dresses Gulbarga, Ashoka Vallioor, Pachyapas, K V Tex, Jeychandran Textiles, Lucky Retail and G V Mall.

Speaking on the grand success of ADVAIT 2.0, Nikhil Furia and Dharmesh Nandu of Apparel Manufacturers of India said, “We are overwhelmed with the response received across four states and are grateful for everyone’s presence here. We have always received great support and response from Chennai, across all our fairs over the year and this year was also not different.”

“We are glad we can work in a cohesive manner to bring extended support to the entire industry of manufacturers, retailers, agents and suppliers and grow together as a community. This year we have raked in sales orders worth nearly 250 crores and this is a positive sign for the entire industry as we work towards booming again, post the slowdown in last 2-3 years,” they further added.

Some key brands which showcased their upcoming festive collection were Reliance Retail Fashion Brands, Red & White, 90 ML, R-wings, Tiny Baby, Betty, Pretty Women, Femi Design, Era- the in-thing, Final Choice, PARI/ PARITA, Myra, N-Tique, and Vimal Fashion.
