Worked for 5 year in social welfare where he worked for the orphaned and deprived children of India. he has had to travel extensively in USA with a slide projector to raise funds for those children.

Disillusioned with intellectual disintegrity in social welfare, h sought a career outside & was lucky to get a break in advertising.

Started with McCann, Calcutta (then called Tara Sinha Associates) in 1988 has worked in Bombay since 1990 with a two year sint with HTA in Bangalore. In Bombay he has worked for Lintas and Bates (then Clarion) before joining Mudra in 1995. He is currently the Executive Vice President and Head of Media.

He has worked on almost all categories and on a wide variety of business encompassing MNC, PUS & Indian Private Sector. He is the Vice Chairman of the MRUC's technical committee and plays a very key role in IRS - world's greatest readership study. He also helped the Industry by guiding ORG-MARG to improve their Proplemetre Software.

He is one of the most approachable media persons in our industry.
