?The Amazing Spider-Man? follows the original story of Peter Parker, the orphan boy who gets bitten by a radioactive spider and gains unusual powers, and is the fourth film in the series.

The franchise reboot tells the story of how Parker - a teenager with a chip on his shoulder, raised by his aunt and uncle - tries to discover what happened to his parents and faces off with his father?s former research partner, Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), in the form of his villainous alter ego, The Lizard.

The film also tackles Parker?s love story with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, whose father is the very police captain tasked with catching Spider-Man. Martin Sheen and Sally Field play Parker?s well-meaning uncle and aunt, who do their best to keep him from going off the rails.

PLOT

SPIDERMAN (6.30 PM ON PIX):
Peter Parker (Toby Maguire) is an ordinary guy who lives with his beloved aunt and uncle and quietly pines for the girl next door, Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). But when a genetically engineered "super-spider" bites him while on a school trip, Peter develops unusual skills - fantastic acrobatic strength, supernatural awareness and a talent for web spinning. It?s not until tragedy strikes at home that Peter decides to use his new powers to fight crime under a secret identity - Spiderman! When the evil Green Goblin attacks the good people of New York and
endangers the life of Mary Jane, Peter commits himself to the ultimate test: to thwart his arch enemy and to win the heart of the girl he loves.

Peter parker (Tobey Maguire) is attempting to juggle college classes and his job as a photographer with the Daily Bugle while maintaining his secret life as costumed crime-fighter Spider-Man. Parker is also struggling to hold on to his relationship with Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst), who is beginning to enjoy success as a model and actress, and both Mary Jane and Peter have noticed he?s beginning to buckle under the strain. Man, whom Harry blames for the death of his father, the nefarious Norman Osborn. As Parker weighs his responsibilities to himself and those around him against the obligations that come with his special powers, Spider-Man is faced with a new nemesis -- Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), a deranged scientist whose latest project has turned him into the near-invincible cyborg Doctor Octopus.

After his previous adventures, Peter Parker (Toby Maguire) hopes to marry his girlfriend Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). But Peter is told by the police that the original killer of his uncle is still on the loose and his trail has been lost. The killer, Flint Marko, runs into a nuclear weapon testing facility and his atoms are fused with sand. After that he becomes the evil Sandman. But that?s not all, as Harry Osbourne (James Franco) wants his revenge and become the second Green Goblin! Also, an alien life force fuses to Spiderman and starts to poison him / kill him / make him go crazy and spidey finally rips the suit of. But Peter?s rival photographer, Eddie Brock Jr. takes the suit and becomes the powerful yet lethal venom. Will Spiderman defeat all of these enemies?
