    MUMBAI: R.D . Burman the name is synonymous with some of the greatest musical compositions of Bollywood. A trendsetter in contemporary style of music he completely changed the face of music in Bollywood. This streak of revolutionary music coupled with the classic Indian Music in his compositions made him extremely versatile. Amar Prem Hum Kisi se Kam nahin, Bombay to Goa, and Shaan all exhibit a unique style of composition reflecting Pancham da?s huge sea of talent.

    Ijaazat the movie had one of his most memorable songs sung by Asha Bhonsale a very rare kind ofmusic which brought him critical acclaim.

    His last compositon 1942 a love story fetched him a Filmfare award posthumously. B4U music pays a tribute to this immensely talented composer on his death anniversary on 4th January.
