MUMBAI: Alfred Haber Distribution has reached a deal with Italy's Lux Vide to distribute the mini-series Mother Teresa in Latin America and the Caribbean. It has also notched up deals in some 120 markets for the upcoming Latin Grammy Awards, says a release.

Starring Olivia Hussey and shot on location in Sri Lanka and Italy, the 2x2-hour production chronicles Mother Teresa's life.

According to Alfred Haber, "We have already received an extraordinary response in Latin America to the Mother Teresa miniseries". Haber added, "Lux Vide have produced an authentic and sincere film in tribute to the miraculous work undertaken by Mother Teresa and which continues today through her missionaries of charity order".

This year's Latin Grammy Awards are set to take place on 1 August in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in the U.S on CBS.

"We are looking to add a significant number of territories by selling buyers on the strength of the Grammy brand, the exceptional CBS production values, and of course, the incredible Latin music the show offers," Haber further added.
