    MUMBAI: Own: Oprah Winfrey Network and Discovery Networks International have announced that singer Justin Bieber will be featured in a special episode of ?Oprah?s Next Chapter? airing in more than 100 countries worldwide.

    The interview first premieres on 25 November on Own: Oprah Winfrey Network and will then air throughout the world on Discovery?s channels TLC, Home & Health and Real Time.

    Winfrey attended Bieber?s sold-out Believe concert at the All-State Arena in Rosemont, Illinois and got a backstage look at how one lady among thousands of "Beliebers" was chosen to go on stage for Bieber?s signature ?One Less Lonely Girl? performance.

    Winfrey and Bieber then sat down today at RL Restaurant in Chicago for a discussion. Bieber opens up to Winfrey about his growth as an artist, the pitfalls of fame and living in the spotlight. Later, the two go holiday shopping together at Chicago?s Ralph Lauren and Bieber surprises onlookers with an impromptu acoustic performance.

    Bieber has become the first music artist to reach three billion views on Youtube through his official page http://www.youtube.com/justinbiebervevo. Bieber?s current album is ?Believe? (Island Def Jam). The platinum album?s first two singles ?Boyfriend? and ?As Long As You Love Me? are both multiplatinum.

  • NBC showcases singer Justin Bieber?s global tour

    MUMBAI: US broadcaster NBC will present the special ?Justin Bieber: All Around the World? over two nights, featuring singer Justin Bieber.

    The special will air on 20 and 21 June.

    Combining documentary and music performances, the superstar?s first-ever network special goes behind the scenes of his tour around the globe as he showcases his new album ?Believe? including the song ??Boyfriend?. It?s a grueling itinerary of nine cities in seven countries over 12 days, traveling over 16,000 miles and greeting over 500,000 fans.

    After several impromptu concerts, album release parties, fan meet and greets and international TV appearances, Bieber will return to the U.S. for a special New York City performance. And for the first time, viewers can see what life is like through the eyes of Justin Bieber with the "Justin-cam."

    NBC senior VP of special programmes and late night Doug Vaughan said,"The worldwide hysteria surrounding Justin?s album launch is unlike anything we?ve seen, and we?re thrilled to share it with our audience over two nights. With added stops in Italy and Mexico, we?ll have even more unprecedented access to Justin as our cameras film not only his performances, but his every move on this global tour."

    ?Believe? follows Bieber?s Christmas album, ?Under the Mistletoe?, which was his third number one Soundscan debut in just 18 months, making him the first solo artist in Billboard history to chart three number one albums before his 18th birthday.

    MUMBAI: US broadcaster TLC takes viewers beyond the music and past the hype with an intimate look into the inner workings of Justin Bieber?s world in the one-hour holiday special, This Is Justin Bieber on 21 December.

    In addition to sharing revealing personal interviews, the winning artist sings acoustic renditions from his new holiday album ?Under The Mistletoe?, as well as new performances of his own songs and other R&B hits.

    Throughout the special, viewers will go on a behind the scenes journey as British personality Reggie Yates joins Bieber on a private tour of London, a special performance on ?The X Factor UK? and a collaboration with the famed British rapper Tinie Tempah.

    Featuring in-depth access to the 17-year-old singing phenomenon, Justin Bieber confesses what it?s like to be the boy behind ?Bieber fever,? with 2.2 billion hits on You Tube, 15 million followers on Twitter and 38 million fans on Facebook.
