    MUMBAI: Iss Baarish instead of the usual rain talks, India‘s first and leading FM radio brand, Radio City 91.1 FM, in association with Crocs India Pvt. Ltd (CIPL), the Indian subsidiary of Colorado-based footwear brand Crocs Inc. gave listeners stylish shoes in exchange of their old shoes.

    Radio City 91.1 FM gave its listeners a chance to win trendy Crocs, to beat the wet monsoon season of Mumbai. To sport latest monsoon stylish shoes, listeners just had to call Radio City RJs on 66969191 and give one good reason why they should get the stylish Crocs in exchange for their old shoes. Listeners could also nominate their near & dear ones, whose shoes are as old as monsoon itself and gift them Crocs!

    On this initiative, Mr. Ashit Kukian, COO and President Ad sales, Radio City 91.1 FM said, "Radio City has always offered unique contests for the listeners.     MUMBAI: Leo Burnett India has appointed Seema Sood as Director for their newly set Events & PR division. The new division will plan and execute events & PR for Leo Burnett Clients as well as other major clients who use events as part of their marketing or HR programs.

    Seema comes with a many years of experience in large Events & PR. In her earlier avatar at Leo Burnett she was responsible for organizing Goafest event for the first two years. In her stint as COO with Salaam Bombay Foundation in the last three years, she put together the largest World Conference on Tobacco Or Health. She was also responsible for organizing several large scale sport and creative events for underprivileged children.

    Seema has 12 years of experience with agencies like Mudra, and Ambience Publicis in addition to Leo Burnett. Over the years, she has handled several big brands like Westside, Nerolac Paints, Heinz , Philips. She started the social responsibility cell- LeoHope at Burnett. Work done by LeoHope has gone on to win several national and international awards. Before joining the advertising world, Seema has also worked as a journalist and handled the corporate communication function.

    Talking about her return to Leo Burnett she said, ?LB has always been home! Having worked for three years in the social sector has added a completely new dimension to my thinking. Working on fresh event and PR ideas for LB clients will be extremely interesting.     MUMBAI: You have heard the government?s view on Naxalism and you might have heard the view of the civil rights activists. Now it is time to hear the citizens living in India?s war zone! On the occasion of India?s 63rd Independence, for the first time on Indian television, CNN-IBN, IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat in partnership with The Week will attempt to understand the domestic threat of Naxalism in its 10th edition of its flagship opinion poll ?State of the Nation?. This edition of the bi-annual opinion poll on ?India?s Warzone? will take a closer look at the lives of the people residing in Naxal affected areas and also look at presenting their take on Naxalism, violence and development. Conducted by the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), the poll will represent over 3,700 respondents from more than 285 locations across the 7 Naxal affected states. The findings of the survey will be revealed through the week of Aug 9 - 15 on CNN-IBN, IBN7 & IBN-Lokmat and in the special edition of The Week that hits stands on Aug 13.

    State of the Nation Poll which was instituted in the year 2006 highlights the ground realities of the country. The previous 9 editions of State of the Nation extensively covered issues of national importance like Nationalism, Nation?s Agenda, the Great Indian Middle Class, first ever Two Nation Poll from India & Pakistan ahead of their 60th year of Independence, state of the Modern Indian Women and the Great Indian Urban Family, Country?s Governance & Administration, Changing Attitudes in Urban India and the 60+ Generation.
