Watch 'The Hidden Truth' only on times now

MUMBAI: Times Now, the country‘s most watched English news channel which keeps you abreast with all the news , adds a new show ‘Hidden Truth‘ to its weekend programming kitty .

History has fostered many untold stories, mysteries and unsolved riddles that have intrigued generations. Events that have unfolded without telling the truth and have coloured perceptions.

The show ‘Hidden Truth‘, which is scheduled to air on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 pm picks up stories from Indian history and retraces their conception and development. It puts together the missing links and paints a picture that wears different faces of truth.

This week on the ‘Hidden Truth : Honour Earned and Lost‘ catch the comprehensive account of two ill fated army men Major AK Rana and Captain Rathore, as the show revisits the ‘Samba Spy scandal‘.

Major AK Rana, an army officer in the 168 Infantry Brigade was posted in Samba (J&K). In the intervening night of 22nd and 23rd Jan 1979, Major Rana was arrested by military intelligence on account of being a spy for the Pakistani army. 30 years later he recounts the physical interrogation that he underwent.

Captain Rathore belonged to the same regiment as Major Rana and was also arrested on account of being a spy. Rathore and Rana have been absolved of the charges by the Delhi High Court, which called the Samba Spy Scandal ‘Void in Law‘. Today the case rests in the corridors of Supreme Court with the Army still maintaining their 20 year old charges.
