Steven Spielberg returns to TV with 'Nine Lives'

MUMBAI: Following the supernatural show Taken a couple of years ago US broadcaster Sci Fi Channel will once again team with director Steven Spielberg, screenwriter Les Bohem and DreamWorks Television, for the 12-hour mini series event Nine Lives.
As he did with Taken Les Bohem will pen the entire saga, as well as be the executive producer with Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks Television co-president's Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.
Sci Fi Channel says that its last outing with Steven Spielberg, Les Bohem and DreamWorks was both a milestone for television and a turning point for the channel. Dreamworks points out that with Taken Bohem did an amazing job at delivering on Spielberg's ideas. With Nine Lives Bohem is looking to craft Spielberg's ideas into an entertaining narrative that benefits from the mutli-night format.
Nine Lives will air next year. It will unfold as an epic story of love, exploring the greatest mystery of all... what happens after you die? The drama focusses on several characters, each grieving over the loss of a loved one. First by accident, then intentionally induced, each has discovered how to reunite with their loved ones in the afterlife through near-death experiences. But each journey to the other side brings closer an unknown evil, which is about to be unleashed on mankind.
