Interworld Digital ventures into low-budget movie production

MUMBAI: Digital movie solutions provider Interworld Digital Ltd is setting up a separate division for film production and creation of good content for B & C class cities cinema goers.
In this regard, the company has signed filmmaker Partho Ghosh to produce three Hindi movies. According to an announcement posted at Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), these low budget movies will be distributed in both ways digitally as well as by making regular prints.
The first movie of the lot will be released in May 2006. The shooting of these three movies will be completed by mid of April 2006 in Europe.
Interworld Digital has plans to sign more directors and co-producers. The company is planning to launch 100 Digital theaters in B and C class cities in north and west India during 2006.
