BBC joins MSN's northern lights

LONDON: BBC News Online has teamed up with MSN Nordic to provide headline content for MSN pages across Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
The news feed, which includes just headlines and a brief description of the story, invites MSN readers to click through to BBCNews.com, the corporation’s international news site. BBC news is the only foreign news available on the sites, and will provide updated content every 10 to 15 minutes.
BBC World Service head of business development Miles Palmer said that the BBC aims to use the partnership to increase brand awareness and availability.
"BBC World Service continues to seek ways of increasing the reach of this world-class site. Our ambition is to be the world's reference point for international news, and we will pursue partnerships with similar high-profile sites and companies," Palmer said.
MSN, which is part of the giant Microsoft Corporation, provides web services to around 350 million individuals around the world every month. Localised versions are produced in 34 countries and 18 languages.
