MUMBAI: Ten Sports will telecast live Indias historic football tour to Pakistan. An agreement to this effect was signed recently between the Dubai-based channel and Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).

The three-match tour is the first bilateral football series between the two countries.

The matches are to be played at Quetta on 12, June, followed by Peshawar and Lahore on 16 and 18 June. The final two matches will be played under lights. The live telecast of the Quetta match will start at 5:30 pm while the Peshawar and Lahore matches will begin at 9:00 pm.

Taj Television CEO Chris McDonald said, After being part of Indias cricket tour to Pakistan in 2004, it is a proud moment for Ten Sports to be associated with another path-breaking moment in the history of the India/Pakistan sporting relationship.

PFF president Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat said, "We are thankful to Ten Sports for their support to PFF. I am sure our deal with them for live pictures of the eagerly awaited series will generate lot of enthusiasm among Pakistani football enthusiasts as well as Indians. It is first time in Pakistani soccer history that a private channel will telecast live FIFA-approved international fixtures."

Ten Sports claims to be available in over 30 million households in India.
