James Burtson to head investor relations at Time Warner

MUMBAI: US media conglomerate Time Warner has appointed James E. Burtson as VP investor relations
 
 

The 36 year old Burtson will oversee the development and execution of the company’s investor relations initiatives, and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for Time Warner with the investment community. He will succeed John Martin who led the group for more than four years, and has been tapped to serve as Time Warner Cable CFO.

Time Warner executive VP and CFO Wayne Pace says, “This appointment points to the tremendous talent and management depth we have at Time Warner. Over the past three years, Jim has worked closely with senior management to help shape and effectively communicate our business strategy and our progress in returning the company to a path of sustainable growth.
