MUMBAI: Prasar Bharati is on the lookout for marketing partners to expand its Akashvani and Doordarshan archives. To effect this expansion, the national broadcaster has invited tenders from reputed music companies and labels who are interested in marketing Indian classical music and dance.

In the last one year, Prasar Bharati has brought out archives of music and dance, making a rare compilation of memorable performances by the greatest artistes ever. The national broadcaster is now looking for partners to distribute and market the audio cassettes, CDs, VCDs and DVDs to the public at large.

The forms for the tenders are available for free download on the All India Radio website as also at the AIR office at New Delhi. The last date for submitting the tenders has been fixed at 10 December 2003.
