Gracing the event as the chief guest will be Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Ji Fadnavis who will also be seen delivering a speech where he shall share his ideas and vision for Maharashtra. This high-profile event, attended by the top brass of Maharashtra politics will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at ITC Grand Central, Parel.

Talking about the event, Uday Nirgudkar, Editor, News18 Lokmat said, “I am proud to see that the Rising Series initiative of News18 Network continues to touch new horizons by initiating critical dialogue between the administrators and general public. Maharashtra is a state that continues to grow from strength to strength thereby contributing a significant share to the GDP of the country. The state also contributes a significant share of Income Tax collected in the country. And BMC, the municipal corporation of Mumbai is considered the richest in India. Keeping in mind such economic indicators, Rising Maharashtra becomes the most relevant platform to converse on the future of the state.”

Rising Maharashtra 2018 serves as an effective platform for multiple stakeholders to come together and engage in an open and direct dialogue with top policy-makers. In addition to that, impactful conversations and discussions recognising the areas of scope and challenges by political leaders will shed light on the current state of affairs in Maharashtra. The event is a riveting opportunity for state ministers, politicians and corporate head honchos to look into potential solutions and work towards fulfilling them.

The Rising Series, an initiative by News18 Network, has seen a tremendous response in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka and Kerala where Chief Ministers and key policy-makers chalked out the roadmap for their respective states. Now with this event making its way to Maharashtra, influencers and leaders are gearing up to keep the momentum going and taking the series into its next phase.
