MUMBAI: Daily News & Analysis (DNA), the soon to be launched English daily from the Zee-Dainik Bhaskar combine, has appointed Khalid Mohamed to their editorial board.
 
Announcing this appointment, Diligent Media Corporation director Punit Goenka said, "We are happy to have an accomplished professional like Khalid on board. With his vast experience in the media industry, Khalid will have a significant role in the success of DNA."

Prior to this assignment, Mohamed was writing for Mid-day, The Telegraph, Indian Express, Hindu, Time-Out, India Today and Man's World among others. He started his career as a trainee journalist at Times of India, where he spent 26 years.
 
 

In this period he has handled responsibilities as a reporter, film critic, media editor, besides undertaking dual responsibilities as the media editor of Times and the editor of Filmfare, the release adds.
