CNBC Asia Pacific inks distribution deal in Vietnam capital

MUMBAI: CNBC Asia Pacific has signed an agreement to launch the CNBC Asia channel into Vietnam's capital through the recently launched Ho Chi Minh City Television network.

The 24- hour channel will be offered as part of HCMC TV's international tier, informs an official release.

CNBC's line-up of Asian-focused programming, like Asia Squawk Box, CNBC Tonight, a newly launched evening primetime programme incorporating business, news, investment and lifestyle content.
CNBC Asia Pacific president and CEO Alexander P Brown said, "This deal provides a superb opportunity for the brand new HCMC TV network to add value to their channel packages with the the CNBC Asia channel."

"For us, this deal signifies a positive move towards the IndoChina markets, and is a reflection of CNBC's appeal to a fast-growing and highly entrepreneurial market like Vietnam," said Brown.
