CNBC 24-hours via MOD in Taiwan

MUMBAI: Business and finane channel CNBC is now available as a 24-hour television service in Taiwan, through ChungHwa Telecom's Multimedia-On-Demand (MOD) platform, which currently has more than 100,000 subscribers.
CNBC Asia Pacific senior VP sales and marketing Gregg Creevey says, "This initiative provides ChungHwa Telecom with an excellent way of adding more value to their channel packages on their Mod platform. For CNBC, this is an important strategic partnership which represents a positive move towards the Northeast Asian markets, and is a reflection of CNBC's appeal and relevance to a dynamic and vibrant market like Taiwan."
ChungHwa MultiMedia president Wayne Tang says, "Our partnership with CNBC puts ChungHwa Telecom in an even stronger position to offer unique content to domestic viewers allowing us to attract more customers by offering a greater variety of services.
