MUMBAI: Radio City 91FM is paying tribute to the legendary singer Kishore Kumar on the occasion of his birth anniversary on 4 August.

Radio City will play the magic of Kishore Kumar under the theme Hafta Band for an entire week.
 

At the Radio City studio, Kishore Kumar's wife Leena Chandarvarkar and son Sumit Kumar interacted with listeners live on-air while Babul Supriyo took in requests from the listeners and sung Kishore Kumar's legendary songs in his own unique way, informs an official release.
 
 

Radio City CEO Apurva Purohit said, "Inviting Kishore Kumar's wife and son to the studio to share some special moments of his life with the listeners was Radio City's way of paying tribute to the legend. Every music lover holds Kishore Kumar very close to his heart and so is the case with Radio City. Kishoreji's timeless melodies are immortalized in the minds of million of his fans and Babul Supriyo along with his troop re-created the magic by performing live on-air some of his songs."
