Mumbai, 26th November 2005: ETC hosted a grand star-studded premiere of the much awaited laugh riot ‘Deewane Hue Pagal’ with FAME Adlabs, part of Shringar Cinemas Limited. It was an event that left everybody asking for more. While the public which had gathered around Fame Adlabds in Andheri, cheered every time a star descended, stars themselves waved graciously to acknowledge their fans and their own popularity.

For the premiere, FAME Adlabs rolled out its special red carpet to welcome the film’s star cast and the city’s glitterati, while media partner ETC’s hostess ‘Akriti Kakar’ received the guests in style. Director Vikram Bhatt was the first one to arrive and then came Suresh Oberoi. There on celebrities just kept coming in. Akshay Kumar created hysteria when he walked in Kaitrina Kaif, Arti Chabariya, Riya Sen, A.G.Nadiadwala, Johny Lever, Shahid Kapoor, Rimi Sen, Sushma Reddy, Dabboo Ratnani, Smita Thakrey, Gauhar Khan, Aslam, Khan, Mukesh Bhatt, Vivek Oberoi, Firoz Nadiadwala, Kunal Das Gupta, Akash Deep, Sheeba, Ahmad Khan, Pooja Kanwar, Mr. Vikas Gupta, Mr Jagjit Singh Kohli and Suresh Menon generated loads of interest.

The film’s release has been perfectly timed with the ongoing season of festivities, offering the ultimate treat of fun and excitement to Mumbai’s film lovers.

ETC’s star host ‘Suresh Pillai Menon’ received the stars and invited guests to grill them about how all Deewane have turned Pagals in the film ‘Deewane Hue Pagal’, produced by Feroz Nadiadwala and directed by Vikram Bhatt. The movie, the hosts, the surroundings, the ambience…. everything was just right for the splendid premiere of the Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Shahid Kapoor, Rimii Sen, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever and Suresh Menon starrer ‘Deewane Hue Pagal’.
This madcap laugh riot also stars a dog and a parrot.

ETC had earlier organised a road show and contest across six cities namely Meerut, New Delhi, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi, and selected 6 winners
-- Two Diwanee and four Diwane, who were Pagal enough to do weird acts and deeds to woo and win the heart of their sweethearts. These winners were flown to Mumbai as special guests to watch the premiere of ‘Deewane Hue Pagal’ with their favorite stars.
