Mumbai December 5, 2005: Shahenshah of Bollywood was busy shooting for Ek Ajnabee and ETC the favoured channel of Bollywood, caught him as Star Giraftaar for the month of December 2005. What better way to end the successful year 2005 than to take Amitabh Bachchan into the homes of its viewers.

Star Giraftaar is a slot where in every month ETC presents some famous Hindi Film personality. Besides a special very personalized half hour dedicated show called 'Chit Chaat' with the star, ETC also shows songs and scenes from their forthcoming film throughout the period dedicated to them. In this half an hour chat show Giraftaar Star discusses their professional highs and lows, fond memories, pasand, napasand and childhood, family & friends.

Talking about the film Big 'B' says "Ek Ajnabee is adapted from the English film Men Of Fire and set in Bangkok on a family of husband, wife and a young child. Kidnapping is a very big crime over there. Since they are worried about their child and I have an army background they called me for protection. The film is focused on abduction and emotional conflict. Since my character is not from Bangkok, the title of the film is Ek Ajnabee".

As Amitabh Bachchan says he enjoyed tremendously working with the child artist Richa and even learnt a lot from her. "She is remarkable actor and very natural". He should know because he has done films as well as many ads with children. Although, the director Apoorva Lakhi is comparatively new, still Mr. Bachchan found him very focused and energetic".

He went on to explain how this film has latest technological affects and he is highly stylized. In his exclusive interview with ETC, Mr. Bachchan talks about his other films, his work schedule, his view point about item numbers and his entertaining moments with grand children.
