BBC Worldwide strengthens children's division with two key appointments

MUMBAI: The BBC's commercial arm BBC Worldwide has announced that it has strengthened its children's division. Helen McAleer has been promoted to the new role of Deputy MD of Children's BBC Worldwide.

 

She reports to Children's BBC Worldwide MD Mark Young. McAleer is responsible for the global exploitation of children's brands through acquisition, investment, development, and license of intellectual property.
 
 

As part of BBC Worldwide's strategy to grow the children's business in North America, Susanna Pollack, Director of US Co production Sales, has been promoted to the role of VP Children's Business Development. Based in New York Pollack will be responsible for driving and developing the cross media strategy for the children's business in the market and will report into McAleer.
