A heady mix of entertaining love stories, fast paced action-packed shows, unbelievable stories on animal rescues and extraordinary real life miracles will feature on Reality TV through the month. September brings an interesting line-up of shows like The Wall Crawler, Conjoined in the Head, In the Nick of Time, Miracle Steps, Exchanging Vows, Deadly Bugs and Deadly Reptiles to name a few.

Reality TV, a 24-hour entertainment channel that showcases programmes on real people and their true stories has been alluring audiences worldwide through an eclectic mix of real life programmes which portray a myriad of experiences, feats, idiosyncrasies, aspirations and sentiments. The Wall Crawler is an adventure thriller which showcases the live stunts of Frenchman Alain Robert. Having had 20 years of climbing experience in natural landscapes, often without any equipment, Alain was inspired to climb skyscrapers. He has been successful in reaching the top of some of the tallest towers of the world's most densely populated cities. The show follows his escapades as he scales buildings in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Kuala Lumpur, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Milan, Moscow and Paris. It entertains viewers by bringing them closer to a man who is a veritable mixture of light-hearted humour and brutal intensity.

Another show which harbors on human psychology is Exchanging Wows, which is an interesting account of the ups and downs associated with planning weddings. What makes the show unique and interesting is that a to-be-wed couple takes the responsibility of planning not their own wedding but of another similar couple. These couples in question do not know each other and the challenge is to envisage an ideal wedding day complete with all the practical and imaginative accouterments associated with the occasion. It is indeed a challenge as a simple personality profile of the other couple is all that is given to them.

Conjoined in the Head is about twins who have been inextricably joined at birth. The show is a vivid portrayal of the desperation that ensues on account of the physical aberration. The show accounts the throbbing urgency with which they live life on account of which surgical risks, even at the cost of their lives, is welcome.

Nick of Time, a reality-based series, captures the drama, humour, panic, tension and relief of people who are thrust into life threatening situations where time is a crucial factor --from fires and avalanches to an asthma attack, heart transplant and the dreaded flesh-eating disease.

Miracle Steps is a touching and inspiring account of a woman's path to resurrection and self confidence after her spinal cord was injured in an accident. It recounts her relationship with her mind instructor and is
a poignant yet inspiring account of her comeback to life.

Deadly Bugs and Deadly Reptiles are about the humility which these terrestrial creatures subject human beings to. The show is a light hearted account of the supremacy of these creatures of the earth surface over the "most evolved and sophisticated race - human being."

Love Behind Bars is a fascinating and surprising look behind the prison walls to see the way men and women follow old-fashioned traditions of love, affection and commitment, even when surrounded by guard towers and barbed wire.
