'She Made It' website honors American women in TV and Radio

MUMBAI: The US Museum of Television and Radio has launched the She Made It website - www.shemadeit.org - to celebrate the achievements of creative and business American women in the fields of television and radio.

The museum will honour great women writers, directors, producers, journalists, sportscasters and executives. The museum has tied up with Nine Systems which provides streaming media applications and content delivery solutions.

The Museum of Television and Radio's television curator Ron Simon says, "We anticipate by the end of this three-year project, we will have 2000 hours of programming compiled from our existing collection of over 120,000 programmes and other additional programming. As our goal is to make this collection available to the public, we are pleased that we can offer our audiences outside of New York and Los Angeles a streaming media option allowing them to view the extraordinary work of our honorees."

Nine Systems will manage and deliver the streaming video content of the Museum seminar series and other related programming featuring the work of the 2005 She Made It honourees. The streamed She Made It seminar series and programming will be delivered through Nine Systems' Network of Networks, the industry first aggregated system that routes all types of rich media across multiple top-tier CDNs.
