Martha Stewart to improve the quality of cooks in new show

MUMBAI: Martha Stewart has announced that she is looking for the worst cooks in the US to become students during her latest television show in the US Martha.

The lifestyle diva will take bad cooks on her new show and help transform them from culinary catastrophes into marvellous meal makers. As had been reported earlier by Indiantelevision.com Stewrat has tied up with reality TV guru Mark Burnett for a new show which will debut later this year.

Interested bad cooks -- or the people who have had to eat their meals -- should submit a creative videotape about the entrant and "failed attempts at cooking."

The tapes should be no longer than three minutes.

Meanwhile, the story of Martha Stewart including the time spent in jail has inspired a new stage musical called Martha! The Unauthorised Musical.

According to a report in Femalefirst, the show, about an ex-con domestic queen called Martha Blake, was conceived before Stewart was sentenced to prison, but incorporates her rise, fall and rise again.

The website Marthamusical.com promises, "The show tells the life story of Martha Blake who, with guile and glue gun rises from her working class Polish roots to become doyenne of American domesticity and one of the most successful businesswomen in American history.

Stewart will also be involved with a version of the business based reality show The Apprentice. However a report in The Hollywood Reporter states that there will not be any "You're fired" salvos on the show. She will find her own way of deal with matters but that has not been revealed so far.

"I think you'll find it quite different," Stewart said during an appearance at the Promax&BDA conference of marketing executives in New York.
