NEW YORK: Media conglomerate AOL Time Warner and market research firm, Marketing Evaluations have signed a multi-year corporate contract.

Marketing Evaluations' Q Score services are the US industry standard for measuring the familiarity and appeal of television programmes, personalities, products, and various licensing entities. Q Scores will play an integral role in the research strategies for various AOL Time Warner media and consumer businesses.

The three-year contract, the largest agreement ever between the two companies, provides AOL Time Warner with access to Marketing Evaluations' Performer Q, TVQ, Cable Q, Cartoon Q and Kids Product Q services.

An official release informs that AOL Time Warner's broadcast, cable, syndication and consumer business units included in the agreement consist of HBO, Turner Broadcasting System (TNT, TBS, CNN, Cartoon Network), Warner Bros. Television, Warner Bros. Media Research/Domestic Television Distribution and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

HBO / Cinemax Audience Research senior VP Jan Pasquale was quoted in a release as saying: "Marketing Evaluations provides a unique and high-end quality product that enables the AOL Time Warner divisions to maintain their leadership edge in the media and consumer marketplace. We look forward to on-going collaborations with Marketing Evaluations in developing new ways to use Q Scores and other research that will help drive our businesses even higher."
