Veteran scriptwriter Sandhya Divecha came up with an interesting interactive session on scriptwriting a docudrama with participants pitching in with storylines, plots and scenes and shot possibilities.

"It is important to know the different points of view, characters' backgrounds and focus of the story before fleshing out the script", she said. While developing a docudrama, it is important to

  • Know the characters' background
  • Know the focus of the story
  • Narrow down on the objective of doing the story

Attendees participated enthusiastically in the construction of a fictional drama of a kidnapping case, learning various aspects of sequence construction logical shooting in the process.
