MUMBAI: The release of Govardhan Reddy Maane and Vijay Varma Pakalapatti‘s Cutting Chai made under the banner of Salt N Pepper Entertainment has been deferred to 25 November.

The film, directed by Flavin Luicien, has become the latest victim of Censor Board (CB) for its bold dialogues and scenes. Without issuing a certificate, the CB directly send the film to revising committee.

The committee pointing that around six dialogues and two scenes were too sexy and explicit in nature passed film with ‘A‘ certificate with eight cuts.

Considering the CB‘s step as biased and non-judicial, producer Pakalapatti said, "Those scenes were very important for the film. But what we do? The film has delved into the psyche of the youth who may survive on cutting tea but ready to conquer the world. It is a story of four friends.

I used dialogues used by the youth today. Many big films uses such dialogues which the Censors don‘t object to, but small producers like us face such problems. I have requested the Government to do something for small producers," the producer fumes.

The film was earlier supposed to release on 18 November.
