Mumbai: Project 11, India‘s first short collaborative film that was shot in 11 cities of the World, with combined crew strength of over a 100 people belonging to 13 different ethnic cities has created a record of sorts.

True to its theme, the 11 sec long film had its day and date premiere at 11:11 AM on 11.11.11 on a local film website. And now the unusual concept film has caught the eye of film festivals.

In its long journey of film festivals, the film won the Best Sound Award at Imphal International Short Film Festival 2012 and recently had its world premiere at Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival 2012, said to be the world‘s biggest genre film festival.

Now, the film has been selected for the Panorama section of Budapest Shorts Film Festival (Busho 2012), Hungary.

Speaking on the occasion the Indian Director Vikas Chandra said, "Project 11 is a film that speaks of our world. A film like this wouldnt have been possible four years ago. If the social network was about how a networking site was born, this film is a proof of what you can achieve with networking sites. I‘ll name four such important sites, thanks to which I am standing in front of you today."
