Rado launches new premium range, 122nd outlet at Bangalore

BANGALORE: Lisa Ray, Rado brand ambassador inaugurated the watch brand's fifth outlet in Bangalore and 122nd in India today. The outlet opening coincided with the launch of Rado's diamond studded Sintra 'Superjubile' pave (SSP) range.
Five more outlets and two exclusive Rado boutiques are to be launched by the year-end.

 

The SSP is a range of eight dial versions of watches decorated with up to 248 diamonds, rubies and sapphires having a price range of Rs.280,000/- to Rs.436,000/-.

 

Speaking on the brand promotion activities, Rado brand manager Pashant Bhanot said, "We generally advertise in the print media, more in magazines than newspapers because of better quality paper and longer retention times for magazines. Outdoor billboards, catalogs, events, launches by our brand ambassador in India Lisa Ray are the tools used for brand promotion. We are also working on a TVC with our Swiss parent company, which should be out probably in a couple of months."

 
 
"Creative's are done by us in-house in India and abroad while media is handled by JWT," added Bhanot. .

 
 
Rado is among the top three brands owned by the 4.6 billion Swiss Francs (aprox. Rs 166 billion) Swatch group Swatch has been witnessing 70-100 per cent year-on-year growth in sales for the last three years in India, and over the last ten months has seen a 30 per cent growth in a number of sales outlets.
